Overcoming obstacles in life
Prayer for September 12.
All we have some goals in the life. If achieving goals were easy, everyone would do it quickly and without difficulty. But we face many obstacles which we can’t overcome only by our own effort. We need some help from God.

Bible Verse for Today
“Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” John 7:38

The Holy Spirit lives in us – in our minds – when we entrust our lives to Jesus. He is the stream of life in us. This stream is a wonderful gift from God to each one of us. In him flow health, a positive attitude to life and a generous, forgiving attitude.

However, many people have allowed this stream to be dammed up. Are you always discouraged and no matter what you do, you can not seem to get rid of this attitude. Through years of neglect, a once mighty stream has become a small trickle. Do you know such people? Does that sound like your life?

If you do not clear the riverbed to allow the flow to flow unhindered, everything will be difficult, disappointing, and unsatisfactory. You will not taste the water that quenches your thirst like nothing else.

Make the decision today and stop struggling, struggling and dragging you through life. Ask God to help you to get rid of the chunks. He will show you what blocks the current and how you can eliminate it. Then you will be able to enjoy the refreshing stream of life unhindered again!

God, Lord of the Heavens and Earth, rule and control our spirit and body, thoughts, words, and deeds today, to fulfill your will, that through your help, now and ever, we are free to walk on the path of salvation. God, we want to let your stream of life flow in us. Show us what blocks it and teach us overcoming obstacles in life. Amen.
