A Guide for The Spirit Filled
It's written in Isaiah you shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace. Now the word "led forth" is very interesting in Hebrew, the word is Yabal. It means you're led forth of God. Yabal also means to flow. The Spirit is likened to water and that flows. So when you're living in the Spirit, being led by God you're going to flow. What about you? Is your life characterized by flowing or is it being driven and pressed, rushing and running, but you're not being led? Anger has no flow, jealousy has no flow, fear has no flow, and depression has no flow. But if you're led by God then you've got Yabal. Then you've got the quality of flowing. You see love flows, faith flows, mercy flows, kindness flows, and joy flows. That's how you're to go out in your life: to be flowing in the spirit. Stop being driven my friend. Start being led. Take a break and be led because when you're led by the Spirit your life will flow like a river. Then you shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace.
Today's Mission
Seek today to be led by the flow of the Spirit at all times, not driven, not forced, but flowing.
Isaiah 55:13
13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
“So you’ll go out in joy, you’ll be led into a whole and complete life. The mountains and hills will lead the parade, bursting with song. All the trees of the forest will join the procession, exuberant with applause. No more thistles, but giant sequoias, no more thornbushes, but stately pines—Monuments to me, to God, living and lasting evidence of God.”
The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prevents the government from making laws that regulate an establishment of religion, or that prohibit the free exercise of religion, or abridge the freedom of speech, the freedom of the press, the freedom of assembly, or the right to petition the government for redress of grievances. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that constitute the Bill of Rights.
