The cross is turned upside down in order to mock and dishonor Jesus, and his death, while it is an honoruring of the opposing force which is in rebellion to God.
This symbol represents a rejection of God's will. When the human race learns to read the language of symbolism, a great veil will fall from the eyes of men.
