Those familiar with the body of my life’s work know that I am a “giver,” not a “taker.”

I always put my client’s best interests over mine. I believe that is the essence of a true professional.

I give credit and recognition to others.

I am an “average” man. I grew up in a home where my parents always struggled to make ends meet. I was always looked down on by others because they were aware of the domestic problems between my parents. At 16, I was the boy who walked in and found that my father had beaten my mother to death.

I never sought sympathy from others for the problems I experienced as a youth. I was determined to overcome the pain and obstacles to make it. I did.

America gave me the opportunity to do so. In this war for our nation’s freedom, I have dedicated myself to giving back to America what America gave to me. That is why I joined the battle. I will never quit.

I am a giver, not a taker.
