The Power of Giving Thanks
When you first learned to speak, you learned three central words: Please and thank you. We often forget what the simplest first lessen that we learned as children means in our hearts to God. When we ask God for something, the attitude must be please, not demanding that we have to have something, or complaining that we didn't get something. But God, if you please, if it's Your will, then I praise You. Then there is thank you. When you receive something from God, you don't just walk away and take it for granted, or say, "I had the faith, so God had to do it". Thank God for everything every day! Everything you have in your life is a gift, not an entitlement. The more you thank Him, the more gifts and blessings you'll see in your life. Remember that one of the first lessons of life and in the Lord is one of the most important spiritual lessons for joy and blessing. Put it into practice. "I'm not demanding it, I'm just asking you."...
