Latter Days and Sundry Times
The Hebrew say that God, who in past times spoke to us in many ways, has now spoken to us by His Son. But in the Greek, it doesn't say "by His Son". It says, "by Son" without anything before the noun. We do that when we say, "I'm going home." We don't say I'm going to the home. The reason is "home" is all encompassing, so you don't put something in front of it. In the same way, the Son of God is so all in all, so incredible, so everything, that you don't put anything in front of Him. He doesn't need a modifier. He doesn't need anything in front of Him. He's everything. He's not just a son, not just a light, not just the life. We can't separate ourselves from Him because we're in Him. There's no need to qualify Him. There's no end to Him. He's our life and we're in Him. So live your life in Him as if He's everything. There's no limiting Him. He's not just the Light, the Life, and the Son; He's light and life itself! He's all in all, SON!
Today's Mission
Don't put anything in front of Him today. Make Him your all in all.
Ephesians 1:22-23
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
All this energy issues from Christ: God raised him from death and set him on a throne in deep heaven, in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but forever. He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything. At the center of all this, Christ rules the church. The church, you see, is not peripheral to the world; the world is peripheral to the church. The church is Christ’s body, in which he speaks and acts, by which he fills everything with his presence.
Have a blessed day and week.
May Yeshua Hamashiach bless you,
Love, Lizzy
The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prevents the government from making laws that regulate an establishment of religion, or that prohibit the free exercise of religion, or abridge the freedom of speech, the freedom of the press, the freedom of assembly, or the right to petition the government for redress of grievances. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that constitute the Bill of Rights.
