Friday Through Sunday's Eyes

The Sunday Morning Dawn
Why is Good Friday called Good Friday? It's the day of Messiah's death. It is good because He was dying for our sins. But it didn't seem good at the time. It seemed to be a horrible Friday. The disciples were crushed, broken, confused, in mourning, vanquished and hopeless. Everything was finished. But then came Sunday. Good Friday is good in view of Sunday morning. And in this is a secret of living. Don't see things solely through today's eyes, but through the eyes of tomorrow. Because God promises that for those who love Him, He's going to work all things for good. It doesn't matter what you're going through now, Sunday morning is coming and it's going to turn around. Before you see it, thank God for the solution. Learn the secret of seeing things in your life now through the eyes of heaven, through the finished work, when all that's now- your good, your bad, your problems, your troubles- is going to be turned into perfect good. Thank God for your situation and it too will become a Good Friday. And it's a Good Friday through the eyes of Sunday morning.
Today's Mission
Look at all things today through heavenly eyes to the resurrection. Through every trial hold onto Sunday morning.
Luke 24:6-7
6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
They were puzzled, wondering what to make of this. Then, out of nowhere it seemed, two men, light cascading over them, stood there. The women were awestruck and bowed down in worship. The men said, “Why are you looking for the Living One in a cemetery? He is not here, but raised up. Remember how he told you when you were still back in Galilee that he had to be handed over to sinners, be killed on a cross, and in three days rise up?” Then they remembered Jesus’ words.
Have a blessed day and week.
May Yeshua Hamashiach bless you,
Love, Lizzy
