Talking to The Saints

To Become a Saint
There are some denominations that believe in the veneration of saints. They build statues to honor them and pray to them, such as Saint Joseph, Saint Jude, etc. Is it biblical to venerate saints? Yes, as long as it's the right saints and the right venerating - as in giving honor. Scripture teaches that everyone who's born of the water and of the Spirit is a saint - thus we must believe in all of them. It's saints who greet you at Worship Service, who teach the word, who sit next to you in the service. We're to honor the saints around us, never to worship or pray to them, but to revere and bless them. The saints who are already in Paradise don't need your reverence, but the saint who sits next to you, your brother and sister in the Lord, could use real love, respect, honor, and encouragement. It's okay to ask a saint to pray for you as long as the saint is alive. It's even nicer to pray for a saint, because the living earthbound saints can use your prayers. Love a saint today, because saints are biblical and so is their veneration and blessing.
Today's Mission
Take every opportunity the Lord gives you today, to honor and encourage the saints around you.
Ephesians 6:18
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.
Have a blessed day and week.
May Yeshua Hamashiach bless you,
Love, Lizzy
The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prevents the government from making laws that regulate an establishment of religion, or that prohibit the free exercise of religion, or abridge the freedom of speech, the freedom of the press, the freedom of assembly, or the right to petition the government for redress of grievances. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that constitute the Bill of Rights.
