Why Passover? It is the actual timing of Jesus' death and resurrection, which happened according to the Passover tradition except HE was the Lamb sacrificed (unintentionally, but those who wanted him dead were so enraged they did not consider the Divine timing). He rose after 3 days and 3 nights (72 hours). This year, His resurrection will be celebrated on the afternoon of April 27th...which falls on a Saturday this year. The Lord of the Sabbath, rose from the dead on the Sabbath.
This, again, is significant because it reminds us that Heaven does not run on our mathematical calendar you buy every December with the predetermined dates (based on the Sun). We have to literally "look up" to know what time it is (the Appointed Times based on the Moon)...this is a representation of being led by the Spirit...
