The Chaff Floating Down The Nile

The Rainbow Prince Mysteries
An old rabbinical legend says that during the famine in Egypt, Joseph emptied the chaff of his storehouses into the Nile River. The chaff was carried away by the currents into the land all around Egypt. People saw the chaff and began to hope, knowing it meant that there was plenty of wheat in Egypt. They only had to reach the place where the chaff had been thrown. We learn from this story that God doesn't give us all of heaven while we're here on earth, but He'll give us a taste - a taste of heavenly joy, of heavenly love, of peace and wonder. Each taste isn't an end in itself. It's a promise of more to come, an encouragement to press on further. God's Word is full of promises for you to take hold of and go with. So go with strength, power and confidence. Press on to the upper call, because each promise will lead you to greater blessings. If you follow the chaff, you'll come to the wheat. As you walk into the Promised Land by faith, you'll enter into the fullness of His blessings.
Today's Mission
Take hold of a promise from God's Word today and pursue it until you find a new blessing from Heaven.
2 Peter 3:13
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Since everything here today might well be gone tomorrow, do you see how essential it is to live a holy life? Daily expect the Day of God, eager for its arrival. The galaxies will burn up and the elements melt down that day—but we’ll hardly notice. We’ll be looking the other way, ready for the promised new heavens and the promised new earth, all landscaped with righteousness.
HAVE A BLESSED DAY AND WEEKEND!!
The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prevents the government from making laws that regulate an establishment of religion, or that prohibit the free exercise of religion, or abridge the freedom of speech, the freedom of the press, the freedom of assembly, or the right to petition the government for redress of grievances. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that constitute the Bill of Rights.
