HAPPY LABOR DAY!!

Yeshua the Messiah, I thank you for this Labor Day holiday. I thank you for this time when I can choose to get added rest, or added fun, or added time to catch up on necessary chores. Lord, this is also a great day for reflection. This is a day to thank you for the many gifts and talents that you have given me to serve you and serve others. Lord, you have equipped me, you have prepared me, and you will enable me to make great contributions to this world. Enlarge my vision of your awesome plan for my life.

I thank you for your heavenly guidance. I celebrate the revelation, motivation, and determination that will take me to the next step in my destiny. Bless my work and my career for your glory. Enlarge my opportunities. Enable me to be prosperous as I dedicate myself to giving my best to the work assignments you have given me. In Yeshua' Name I pray, Amen.

Yeshua the Messiah and creator of us all – the one who gives us strength to work, minds to envision and hearts to persevere – thank you for creating us with the ability to do tasks, create products and contribute ideas that benefit the world. We remember in grateful prayer today all those who labor diligently in our factories, in our restaurants, in our maintenance industries, in transportation, in communications, in agriculture, in construction, in mining, in our nursing homes and hospitals, in law enforcement, in childcare and in our retail industry.

Thank you that they provide so many necessary services that keep our lives and our country working like clockwork. We pray the blessing of Ecclesiastes upon each worker, “That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil – this is the gift of God.” (Ecclesiastes 3:13 ) Keep our workers healthy, safe and strong. May the work of their hands provide the means they need to care for themselves and their families. Grant them work environments that allow them to do their jobs in safety, where they are respected and valued by their superiors and where they are rewarded by a sense of accomplishment. Help all of us to treat them as we would want to be treated.

Let us never overlook them or to underestimate their value. Open our eyes to their labors on the behalf of our world and help us to voice our thanks to them for tirelessly doing their allotted jobs. May we learn your grace from their example of faithfulness in every task of every size to which we put our hands to doing. In Yeshua' Name I pray, Amen

28 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly.”
