The Fatherless Koran

Ishmael's Secret
Does the Bible explain the Koran? In Genesis 21, Ishmael is sent away from his father Abraham. The Arabs trace themselves to Ishmael. From the children of Ishmael comes Islam and the Koran. In the Koran, there are many titles of God. But you'll never see Him called 'Father'. Islam tends to see God as distant, not as a loving father. This all goes back to Ishmael. Ishmael felt cut off from his father Abraham, and it has affected the history of the Middle East ever since - and the religion of Islam. The Bible speaks of God as a loving Father. Many believers know that as doctrine but not in their hearts. So they spend their lives trying to prove their worthiness, as if God was only a judge. Or they live in anxiety as if they have no father to protect them. But the Bible says that God loves you as a father loves his child. And He'll provide, protect, care for you, and even carry you when you can't walk. Therefore it is written, 'Be imitators of God, as beloved children.' Walk in His love. For you are not fatherless. You're His beloved child. Live like it.
Today's Mission
Today, walk for real as a beloved child, and in the confidence of knowing your Heavenly Father will never leave you or forsake you.
1 John 3:10
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
People conceived and brought into life by God don’t make a practice of sin. How could they? God’s seed is deep within them, making them who they are. It’s not in the nature of the God-born to practice and parade sin. Here’s how you tell the difference between God’s children and the Devil’s children: The one who won’t practice righteous ways isn’t from God, nor is the one who won’t love brother or sister. A simple test.
Have a blessed day and week.
May Yeshua Hamashiach the Christ bless you.
Love, Lizzy
The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prevents the government from making laws that regulate an establishment of religion, or that prohibit the free exercise of religion, or abridge the freedom of speech, the freedom of the press, the freedom of assembly, or the right to petition the government for redress of grievances. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that constitute the Bill of Rights.
