Footsteps on the Altar
Do you want to see the miracles, the presence, the fullness, and the glory of God in your life? Three thousand years ago, the Temple of God was dedicated by King Solomon. The priests offered up thousands of sacrifices, and the glory of God descended on the temple so thick and so heavy that the priests couldn't stand to minister. First, they offered their offerings and then the glory fell. Sacrifice and glory go together. It happened in the Hebrew Scriptures and in the New Testament as well. The death of Messiah was the ultimate sacrifice. What came after? The resurrection, the glory of God - First the sacrifice, then the glory. So, if you want the glory of God to overflow in your life, you must first have the sacrifice. If you want God's glory in your life, lay your life on the altar and give it to Him. Live your life for the Lord and your life will be a glorious one. Follow Him with all your heart and the glory of God will come down. For where there is sacrifice, the glory is sure to follow.
Today's Mission
What is the Lord calling you to sacrifice or offer up today? Do it. And move in the glory.
2 Chronicles 7:1
King James Version
7 Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the house
The Temple Dedication
When Solomon finished praying, a bolt of lightning out of heaven struck the Whole-Burnt-Offering and sacrifices and the Glory of God filled The Temple. The Glory was so dense that the priests couldn’t get in—God so filled The Temple that there was no room for the priests! When all Israel saw the fire fall from heaven and the Glory of God fill The Temple, they fell on their knees, bowed their heads, and worshiped, thanking God: Yes! God is good! His love never quits!
Have a blessed day and week.
May Yeshua Hamashiach the Christ bless you.
Love, Lizzy
The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prevents the government from making laws that regulate an establishment of religion, or that prohibit the free exercise of religion, or abridge the freedom of speech, the freedom of the press, the freedom of assembly, or the right to petition the government for redress of grievances. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that constitute the Bill of Rights.
