Children of Wrath
The famous atheist Madalyn Murray O'Hair, while speaking at a college in Ohio, denigrated all clergy and ministers, ridiculed believers, mocked those who trusted in prayer, and labeled all people of faith as 'stupid.' At the end of the meeting, a girl spoke up. With a soft, compassionate voice she said, "Ms. O'Hair, I am so happy you came to speak to all of us tonight. We thank you for showing all of us what an atheist is. Now, in turn, we must ever be grateful for your visit because now and forever we have been strengthened in our Christian beliefs by listening to you tonight. We really feel sorry for you. I thank you because I know you have strengthened my faith..." Ms. O'Hair seemed at a loss for words. Atheism might testify against God but atheists only testify to Him. They show us that without God, there's no real hope, assurance, comfort, trust, purpose, meaning and love. So, how much more than that must you who affirm God, all the more boldly bear Him witness. Let your light shine and be bold. God lives, and even atheists bear Him witness.

We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely.
Legalism is helpless in bringing this about; it only gets in the way. Among those who belong to Christ, everything connected with getting our own
